Fan Girl

Fan Girl in an independent American film directed by Paul Jarrett and shot in the state of New York in 2014. The American channel ABC Family aired the television premiere of the movie on 3 October 2015.

Set in Burbank, CA, the film tells the story of high schooler Telulah Farrow (Kiernan Shipka) who has two passions in her life: film-making and her favourite band All Time Low. She decides to bring these two things together for her final project, and she gets to attend an All Time Low show thanks to her mother's acquaintances.

The film also analyses Telulah's difficult relationship with her mother (Meg Ryan), who becomes interested in social media to reconnect with her daughter.
