Rian Dawson

Biography

Robert Rian Dawson (mostly known as Rian Dawson) is an American musician who was born on 18 December 1987 in Baltimore, Maryland. He is the drummer of the American pop-punk band All Time Low.
He met Jack Barakat during one of their French classes at Dulaney High School and was convinced to join his and Alex Gaskarth's band to cover pop-punk songs on the drums, covering bands such as Blink-182 or Green Day. Zack Merrick was then chosen to be the last member of the band and play the bass. All Time Low was then created in 2003.
In 2011, Rian followed in Jack's footsteps by collaborating with the brand Glamour Kills. He has only released a shirt named Dawson Tee so far.
In 2012 Rian played the drums on every song off the first EP of Cassadee Pope's solo career, before she entered and won The Voice.
In 2013, Rian became a sound tech for the radio show created by Alex and Jack: Full Frontal. This new passion led him to mix All Time Low's sixth studio album Future Hearts, which came out in 2015.
One year later, he announced the opening of his very own recording studio Track Happy Studios, where he worked with aspiring bands such as The Everyday Anthem.
