Crashed: Alex and Jack surprise a fan in a new episode

Tomorrow, a new episode of the show Crashed will be released online in the United States. In the episode, we can see Alex and Jack crash one of their fans' dinner party to play guitar with her.

You will be able to watch the episode on this link.

Watch the trailer and read what Alex had to say about the surprise below.

Alex Gaskarth and Jack Barakat from All Time Low recently gave someone the surprise of a lifetime.

In a new episode of Crashed, the pair ducked in on a fan's dinner party—unexpectedly, of course.

"We got to surprise her and hang out. There was like this rad chef who—we learned how to make some food for the evening. Then we all got to hang out and talk about how she got into doing what she's doing now," Gaskarth explains. "It's really cool and really awesome to experience that."

The episode premieres tomorrow (Feb. 9) here and on the go90 app. However, we've got a clip to get you excited. Check it out below!

Gaskarth continues: "They reached out and asked us if we would be interested in doing it, and it seemed like a fun thing and a fun way to interact with someone that was a fan of our music.

"I think that’s a huge honor. It was fun!"

"You know, it sort of inspired her to pursue one of her big dreams and that’s always an amazing thing to get to meet someone that you’ve had an impact on like that, when that’s been a driving factor in what they’ve decided to do in their lives.

"I think that’s a huge honor. It was fun!"

For Crashed, Sony Music partnered with go90 and comedian/actor Joel McHale for what the team is calling a "surprise-and-delight show."

New episodes premiere every Thursday! Be on the look out for some more fun pop culture icons and musicians coming soon.

Billboard: Alex talks Muslim Ban

Yesterday, the website Billboard posted an interview they did with Alex about the band's newest tee, whose purpose is to donate money to the ACLU and fight the Muslim Ban undertaken by the President of the USA.

You can read the article below.
As news of President Donald Trump’s executive order indefinitely banning refugees and immigrants from several Muslim-majority countries from entering the U.S. began to spread, the members of All Time Low -- like countless other artists -- were consumed in discussion about it.

“All four of us were in different places, texting back and forth going, 'Man, how unreal is this? This is scary and crazy,'” lead singer Alex Gaskarth tells Billboard.

The foursome was trying to grapple with how far-reaching the order would be. “A lot of us did a lot of reading and brushing up -- which is important to do at times like this,” says Gaskarth. “I think it’s really important when these certain situations come up in life and in the world, it’s good to try to educate yourself to know exactly what’s going on.”

As they considered the potential consequences stemming from the order, some in the pop-punk outfit couldn’t help but entertain the idea that it could have just as easily affected them.

“Two of the members of this band are immigrants. I’m from the U.K., so it’s not applicable to me in that sense, but I’m still a green card holder -- I’m not a U.S. citizen, so in that sense the fact that there’s any kind of question to that, I’ve lived here for 20-plus years and I’m still kind of like, ‘What’s going on?’” Gaskarth explains.

“But then Jack, our guitar player was born in Lebanon, born in the Middle East, which is even closer to this sweeping ban that is taking place. So it’s really close to home within the band,” he continues. “Jack’s parents both live in Lebanon, and it’s only a few degrees of separation between what is happening and directly affecting us. Then from there, we have friends and family who this is directly affecting who are devastated.”

As they discussed possible organizations to donate to with friends and peers, All Time Low decided to create a T-shirt campaign where all proceeds would be donated to the ACLU. “I think a great place to start is the ACLU because they are unbiased and standing for what is right: civil liberties and basic human rights,” says Gaskarth. “We felt like we could use our platform to guide people to what we feel is the right thing to do in this situation.

“All four of us felt like in general it’s wrong. It’s wrong to make sweeping judgments on large groups of people. It’s just wrong -- in this case it’s blatantly racist and xenophobic,” Gaskarth tells Billboard of the immigration ban.

And while this particular issue hit close to home for the band, the singer believes it’s always important to stand up against wrongs, even when you may not be on the receiving end of whom it affects.

“I think one of the biggest things is to know and feel empathy in situations like that,” adds Gaskarth. “Even if it’s not affecting you or someone you know directly, it’s important in times like these to put yourselves in the shoes of the people it is affecting.”

“I think donating is a great way to start. It’s very easy to feel powerless and feel, ‘I don’t know how to extend my reach to help,’ and donating can go a long way,” says Gaskarth. “Beyond that, I think speaking out to local representatives, Congress, Senate, they’re all a phone call away -- and the more people that call, the more people that reach out, the more those people will be encouraged to speak up.”

As promised in the update we posted two days ago, here is more information on the tee which All Time Low have made to donate to the non-profit organisation American Civil Liberties Union.

The print will be released on 24 February 2017 on the official store of the band and you can already preorder it now. You can also get a poster of the drawing.

The band also released a statement to explain why they wish to donate to this cause. Read it below.
Hey guys,

As promised, our Limited Edition 'Open Hearts / Open Hands' print is available now, with all proceeds donated to the ACLU Nationwide a non-profit organization whose mission is to defend and preserve the individual rights and liberties guaranteed to every person in this country by the Constitution and laws of the United States.

We believe that ALL people from all walks of life are entitled to fair and equal opportunity in this country, and at a time when these ideals are being threatened, we feel that it's right to lend a helping hand regardless of political alignment or religious beliefs.

This is about people coming together and lifting each other up.

We hope that you feel the same.

A special thank you to Andrew Cook and EZCO for designing this with us, and more importantly, for supporting the cause.

Any donation will go a long way, so if this item is not for you, for any reason, please consider donating directly to the ACLU at action.aclu.org/donate-aclu.

Remember to treat one another with warmth, empathy, respect and kindness. We're all on this ride together.

We love you all so much,
