Seven years online!

It is with great honour that I am writing that Oh Calamity is celebrating 7 years online today!

As per tradition, I made a brand new layout for this new anniversary with pictures from the band's last show in Baltimore this year on their Young Renegades Tour.
Feel free to let me know what you think about it by tweeting us.
Seven years. On 7th November 2010 Aurélie and I created this website out of pure love for All Time Low - and probably out of boredom as well.

Seven years ago, All Time Low was touring the United States on the My Small Package Tour with Before You Exit, A Rocket To The Moon and City (Comma) State and performing Vegas live for the first time in their career. Seven years ago, only three full-length albums had come out. Seven years ago, we were still hoping to get to hear the final version of Actors and watch the band perform it live.

And here we are. Way too many concerts later. Four album promos later. Two changes of label later. One change of domain name later. Life and time have gotten the best of me and prevented me from updating this website as much as I want to but I will always come back to Oh Calamity with the will to provide the whole fanbase with quality content and everything they need to know about the band.

Thank you, readers of the website and followers of our development. You make me want to keep going. Thank you for your kind words, your retweets, your likes, your visits. This website is nothing without you and I am glad that, 7 years later, we are still your go-to source of information on All Time Low.

A special thank you to my co-webmiss Aurélie who initiated the website and gives me her approval for every layout, every new idea I can think of, and is still so supportive of the website years later. Team JBF / OC for the win!

Lastly, I cannot put into words how proud I am of the four musicians we love so much. When I think back to 2010, I remember how young they were and how much they still had to learn. Now they sell out arenas, work with younger bands, release meaningful music videos, support important causes (this one has always been true, bless their hearts) and stand up for what is right instead of what is easy. The shows are getting better and even the setlists are getting more exotic. Thank you so much for the past 7 years of providing me with a pass time and the past 9 years of following me everywhere I go through your words and your music. I am so proud to be running a website for such a great band. Jack, Zack, Rian and Alex, I love you.

Alex on their upcoming UK tour

Alex recently caught up with Rock Sound to discuss their upcoming UK tour with Pierce The Veil next March. He talked about potential songs and featurings which could appear on the setlist. Read an extract and listen to the full interview below.

WITH VIC BEING ON 'A LOVE LIKE WAR'... ARE WE GOING TO SEE HIM JOINING YOU ONSTAGE DURING YOUR UPCOMING ARENA TOUR TOGETHER?
"I hope so man, I mean I can't speak for him - if he tells me no, that's on him!
"But the potential's definitely there. It would be a shame not to capitalise on that moment."

AND ABOUT THE 'SO WRONG, IT'S RIGHT' 10TH ANNIVERSARY... COULD WE BE SEEING SOME OLD CLASSICS BROUGHT IN TOO?
"Yeah I hope so, I mean it's definitely something we've got on our minds and going into these three shows that we're doing in the winter in New Jersey, we'll tap into that a little bit with some ideas kicking around about how we can carry it into next year.
"It's an opportunity for us to do a really complex show, a lot of movement, and show off all the different eras of the band, so I expect that we'll probably come out and play a pretty long set every night and that gives us more opportunity to go deeper into some of the albums.
"I think it would be a waste of time for everybody if we came over and did the same old thing, so there's definitely going to be a lot of moments for us to play some stuff that maybe people haven't heard live before or maybe throw it back a little bit, would be a lot of fun."
